Elephone U – Specifications

Display

Also known as Elephone U 4G Phablet, the Elephone U features a full high definition 5.99-inch display. The phone has a resolution of 2160X1080 mm. It has an AMOLED screen having capacitive touch with 10-point multi-touch facility. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Build and Dimensions

The Elephone U is made up of aluminum frame machined on CNC. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Even the back panel of the Elephone U is covered with 3D curved glass, having the same grade of glass as that of the screen.

The dimensions of Elephone U in mm are 154X72.5X8.35. Hence it is 154 mm in length, 72.5 mm in width and is only 8.35 mm thick, that makes it a pretty slim one.

The Elephone U has a weight of only 166 grams.

Hardware

Elephone U features an octa-core processor. Both the sets of 4 cores are of 2 GHz and these make the smartphone perform at a lightning fast speed.

Cameras

Elephone U is a triple camera smartphone. It has two rear-facing cameras with 13 MP (dual cameras) and an 8 MP front-facing camera. The rear camera set allows you to record a video of up to 1080 P resolution and the front-facing camera also takes great selfies and records videos up to 720 P resolution.

Operating System

The Elephone U is based on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. It can be updated to Android 8 Oreo operating system as the updates are now available.

RAM & ROM

The Elephone U 4 Phablet features a RAM of 6 GB. This high-end RAM lets the smartphone to function without any lag even if it is operated at a hardcore level. It also allows you to play games with highest of the screen resolutions and that too at an uninterrupted experience.

The Elephone U is provided with only one option of internal memory support, i.e. 128 GB ROM, which helps you to store loads of important files, images, and videos. Storing big size movies is also not an issue as it has so much of internal space.

Other essentials

Along with the above features, a smartphone is incomplete without characteristics like a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, 3.5 mm audio jack, etc.

Elephone U Pro

Elephone U Pro is the same as that of Elephone U, the only difference between the two being some minor cosmetic changes. The Elephone U Pro features 2.2 GHz of octa-core processor. It comes loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system already, hence no need for upgrade like Elephone U. It has a battery of 3550 mAh capacity. The battery is made up of lithium polymer and is an inbuilt one, i.e. it cannot be ejected out of the mobile phone.
