Amazon India Unveils AI-Driven Solutions for Sellers

Amazon’s latest offering, the Seller Assistant, is built on Amazon Bedrock. It harnesses the capabilities of Amazon Nova foundation models and Anthropic Claude to assist sellers with inquiries, provide tailored recommendations, and facilitate informed decision-making.

Bengaluru: In a bold stride towards enhancing operational efficiency, Amazon India has rolled out a series of innovations powered by artificial intelligence.

These are specifically designed to aid Indian sellers in optimizing their processes, improving productivity, and venturing into global markets.

The new Seller Assistant, now available in both English and Hinglish around the clock, aims to deliver personalized guidance and business insights to countless small and medium enterprises (SMEs) utilizing the platform.

Integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities, the Seller Assistant is adept at addressing seller queries, offering bespoke recommendations, and streamlining business operations. This tool amalgamates Amazon’s extensive selling knowledge with advanced AI technology to ease daily business challenges.

In anticipation of Prime Day 2026, Amazon is amplifying AI utilization across crucial facets of selling. These include onboarding, catalog creation, inventory management, fulfillment, and advertising.

As reported by the company, AI tools now possess the ability to autonomously generate product titles, descriptions, and attributes.

Remarkably, they can pre-fill up to 70% of listing data from a single image or URL. Furthermore, product images can be enhanced through AI, significantly reducing the time needed for listing creation.

For inventory management, Amazon presents machine learning-driven restocking recommendations tailored to individual sellers. This suite of tools, along with its warehousing and logistics framework, empowers sellers to manage operations more proficiently throughout India.

Moreover, Amazon is utilizing AI to bolster its advertising endeavors through the Customized On-Demand Ads Experts (CODE) initiative.

This program offers sellers AI-informed account diagnostics and personalized strategies to enhance their advertising effectiveness.

In a further commitment to support Indian businesses desiring to expand internationally, the Seller Assistant now provides AI-backed guidance on global outreach, including product recommendations based on market dynamics, country-specific compliance assistance, and meticulous tracking of the international launch process.

These recent advancements signpost a continuation of Amazon’s vision, presented at SMBhav 2025, to render online selling more intuitive and accessible via artificial intelligence.
