In a separate vein, the general manager of Xinrixing, believed to be producing bearings for a potential foldable iPhone, remarked that his firm is merely awaiting Apple’s directive regarding a shipping timeline.
This statement underscores an essential fact: the components are prepared; the pivotal question is when Apple will initiate the launch.
Collectively, these two enterprises represent distinct facets of the iPhone’s architecture. One is focused on lenses, while the other specializes in bearings. Their synchronous dialogue regarding the same product within this timeframe lends credence to the anticipated developments.
The Recurring Theme of Delays
It is worth noting that rumors surrounding the iPhone Fold have circulated since at least 2019, coinciding with Samsung’s debut of its first foldable device.
Each subsequent year has featured predictions from various sectors of the supply chain and analyst communities regarding Apple’s foray into foldable technology. Regrettably, thus far, those forecasts have consistently proved inaccurate.
This year, however, the atmosphere feels markedly different. A plethora of reports, along with an increase in component-level leaks and more definitive timelines, has emerged compared to previous years.
