This initiative will be realized through the integration of SAP’s Engagement Cloud, Customer Experience (SAP CX), Joule solutions, and Gemini Enterprise.

The partnership asserts that Gemini Enterprise will act as a pivotal hub for data integration and multi-agent coordination, “enabling agents to perform actions seamlessly across a customer’s SAP and Google Cloud solutions.” This integration is bolstered by SAP’s Business Data Cloud Connect solution for Google and BigQuery.
“The capabilities inherent in both Gemini Enterprise and SAP’s agent gateway APIs will empower clients’ agents to exchange context more securely, initiate actions, and optimize results across platforms, thus enabling genuine multi-agent orchestration,” stated the companies.
In essence, this means that AI agents can collaborate effortlessly and securely.
Marketers will be able to provide specific prompts to agents within the SAP Engagement Cloud, with objectives such as “Enhance repeat purchases from the last 30 days” or “Maximize customer lifetime value while minimizing campaign operational costs.”
A Joule Agent, for instance, will manage the entire process, encompassing everything from content personalization to visualization and conversational engagement.
Balaji Balasubramanian, President and Chief Product Officer at SAP Customer Experience and Consumer Industries, characterized the Google Cloud partnership as transcending mere data integration: “It represents a substantial advancement for AI agents, facilitating natural collaboration and seamless execution.”
By melding SAP Engagement Cloud with Google Cloud, businesses can surmount the challenges of data fragmentation that currently inhibit over half of marketers from acting in real time.
This alliance utilizes Joule to consolidate outdated data streams, enabling AI agents to automate transitions from campaign planning to activation without the necessity for manual tool integration.
As a result, organizations can achieve expedited market entry and reduced operational costs via autonomous campaign generation and ongoing optimization.
Ultimately, this alliance catalyzes heightened ROI while liberating teams from monotonous administrative duties, allowing them to concentrate on strategic initiatives and comprehensive execution.
“Through the fusion of SAP Business Data Cloud Connect for Google with interoperable AI agents spanning SAP and Google Cloud, we’re providing organizations with a pathway from AI experimentation to a comprehensive AI-enabled customer experience,” Balasubramanian remarked, noting that marketers can “dedicate less time to manual tasks and more to shaping the customer journey.”
Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, stated, “To fully unlock the potential of agentic AI, businesses must ensure their systems communicate in a common language.

By integrating SAP’s enterprise data and customer engagement platform with Google Cloud’s AI, we’re allowing marketers to transition from basic automation to multi-agent orchestration, fostering dynamic campaigns that adapt in real-time to market fluctuations.
