Trump’s AI Video Sparks Outrage Amid Nationwide Protests
Protesters are expressing vehement discontent following the release of an AI-generated video featuring former President Donald Trump, coinciding with widespread demonstrations against the administration’s policies.
This disquiet reached new heights early on Sunday, October 19, when Trump utilized his social media platform, Truth Social, to distribute what appears to be his reaction to the recent “No Kings” marches.
These protests were orchestrated to challenge Trump’s alleged “authoritarian power grab,” showcasing demonstrators with placards proclaiming slogans such as “Democracy not Monarchy” and “The Constitution is not optional,” according to reports from the BBC.
The “No Kings” demonstrations unfolded in an astonishing 2,500 cities across all 50 states, with significant gatherings recorded in metropolitan areas like New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Accompanied by Kenny Loggins’ 1986 classic “Danger Zone” from the film Top Gun, the provocative video depicted the former president piloting an imaginary “King Trump” jet.
While adorned with a crown, the businessman appeared to soar over New York City, ostensibly raining down buckets of foul substance upon apparent protesters.
This jaw-dropping audiovisual spectacle first made its presence known through a prominent account on X (formerly Twitter), subsequently proliferating on Reddit, where users have been vocally articulating their astonishment.
- “Imagine just one second that any other president ever did something like this…” one Reddit user commented.
- A second remarked, “Can’t believe that’s a president of a country,” as another added, “Republicans – y’all must be so proud.”
- A fourth individual expressed, “Every time he does anything, I truly question whether this is real life. He’s supposed to not only be a president, but he’s a fantastic grown man.”
According to Variety, Trump has also posted additional videos, notably one where he places a crown atop his head while Avenged Sevenfold’s “Hail to the King” resonates in the background.
In a robust rebuttal, House Speaker Mike Johnson and Congressional Republicans have dismissed the “No King” protests as “Hate America” rallies, with Johnson asserting that House Democrats were capitalizing on the event by selling promotional merchandise.
“It’s being told to us that they won’t be able to reopen the government until after that rally because they can’t face their rabid base,” Johnson alleged, alluding to the ongoing government shutdown.
The “No King” coalition countered in an unsigned statement, asserting that Johnson is “running out of excuses for keeping the government shut down,” as noted by Politico.

The coalition lamented, “Instead of reopening the government, preserving affordable healthcare, or lowering costs for working families, he’s attacking millions of Americans who are peacefully coming together to say that America belongs to its people, not to kings.”
In a recent interview with Fox News, Trump seemingly addressed the rallies, which have also unfolded in Miami and Los Angeles: “A king! This is not an act,” Trump stated. “You know – they’re referring to me as a king. I’m not a king.”
Reports indicate that an estimated 100,000 people convened across all five boroughs of New York City, with no associated arrests documented.
Prominent Democratic lawmakers, including Bernie Sanders, Raphael Warnock, Adam Schiff, Cory Booker, and Chuck Schumer, participated in the nationwide protests, as reported by The Guardian.
