Apple is gearing up for the imminent reveal of its iPhone 18 Pro lineup, alongside the debut of its inaugural foldable device.
Although an official announcement from the iconic Cupertino-based firm remains forthcoming, speculation suggests that 9 September could mark the moment when Apple unveils its latest iPhones.
In anticipation of the launch, numerous leaks have surfaced, providing extensive insights into the forthcoming flagship devices. Below are the top ten enhancements expected from the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
1) Reduced Dynamic Island
The iPhone 18 Pro Max is rumored to showcase a downsized Dynamic Island. Allegedly, Apple plans to relocate the Face ID flood illuminator beneath the display, which could shrink the Dynamic Island by as much as 35%.
2) Enhanced performance:
The iPhone 18 Pro series is anticipated to be powered by the A20 Pro chipset, likely the company’s first processor manufactured via TSMC’s cutting-edge 2nm process.
This shift to a more compact manufacturing technology is projected to yield performance improvements of up to 15% faster speeds and 30% greater efficiency compared to its predecessor.
Moreover, Apple is reportedly adopting Wafer-Level Multi-Chip Module packaging from TSMC, facilitating direct integration of RAM with the chip, thus enhancing Apple Intelligence performance while optimizing internal space.
3) Adjustable aperture camera
The primary camera on the iPhone 18 Pro Max may feature a variable aperture lens, enabling users to exert manual control over the amount of light entering the sensor.
