According to DuckDuckGo, traffic to its no-AI search page has surged nearly 30 percent week-over-week since last week.

The company has also noted an 18.1 percent increase in app installations within the United States, while iOS app downloads skyrocketed by an impressive 69.9 percent during the same timeframe.

The recent influx of traffic can largely be attributed to Google’s decision to place AI-generated responses at the core of its search functionality.
