Blue Dart Unveils International Parcel Connect to Enhance Global Reach for Indian E-Commerce
Blue Dart Express Limited has introduced International Parcel Connect, an innovative business-to-consumer (B2C) cross-border parcel shipping initiative aimed at empowering Indian e-commerce enterprises and exporters to engage with customers in international markets. Initially, the service will facilitate shipments from India to the United States.
This initiative targets direct-to-consumer brands, marketplace vendors, small and medium-sized businesses, along with other enterprises aspiring to penetrate global markets.
Leveraging the robust capabilities of DHL eCommerce, the service merges Blue Dart’s extensive domestic logistics and customer service with a well-established international parcel network.
International Parcel Connect features both Standard and Expedited delivery alternatives, allowing businesses to select a service that aligns with their delivery specifications. Furthermore, shipment visibility and dedicated support from Blue Dart in India are integral components of the offering.
Balfour Manuel, Managing Director of Blue Dart, articulated that there has been a pronounced demand for the company to broaden its service portfolio to include international shipping.
He emphasized that International Parcel Connect perfectly synthesizes Blue Dart’s operational proficiency in India with global network connectivity, thereby facilitating firms in their quest for growth beyond regional confines.
Dipanjan Banerjee, Chief Commercial Officer of Blue Dart, noted that India’s B2C e-commerce exports are projected to hover around US$2 billion, unveiling a plethora of opportunities for Indian merchants.
He explained that the new service is designed to bridge the divide between premium-priced express shipping and economical postal solutions by providing varied delivery velocities.
The service caters to eligible parcels weighing between 50 grams and 11 kilograms. Supported product categories encompass apparel and fashion items, automobile spare parts, literature, artisanal crafts, imitation jewelry, and rugs, alongside other permissible marketplace and e-commerce commodities.
All shipments will be subject to the requisite customs and regulatory stipulations, as well as limitations pertaining to commodities, weight, and dimensions.
Blue Dart harbors ambitions to broaden the horizon of International Parcel Connect beyond the United States, aiming to penetrate additional markets including the United Kingdom, various nations within the European Union, Canada, and Australia.
This strategic expansion is crafted to furnish Indian businesses with greater access to overseas consumers as the realm of cross-border e-commerce continues to evolve.
The debut of this service enriches Blue Dart’s portfolio by adding an international B2C parcel option to its existing express and integrated logistics solutions.
By amalgamating Standard and Expedited delivery choices with shipment tracking and comprehensive domestic customer assistance, the company endeavors to streamline international parcel logistics, making it more attainable for smaller enterprises and burgeoning exporters.
Blue Dart Express Limited operates within South Asia’s express air and integrated transportation and distribution domain.

Through its partnership with DHL eCommerce for International Parcel Connect, the firm is broadening its service offerings to bolster Indian enterprises dispatching eligible e-commerce products to clientele in international markets.
