This offer is part of Sky Mobile’s monthly price reduction.

Sky Mobile has recently slashed the price of Apple’s sleekest model, the iPhone Air, by over £100 during an early summer promotion.

This initiative provides Apple aficionados with an opportunity to acquire the handset at the “lowest ever price.”

Launched last September as part of the iPhone 17 series, the iPhone Air’s price has now been reduced to £24 per month (down from £27) on a cost-spreading plan.

Sky claims this represents an unprecedented low point in pricing for this device, culminating in total savings of £108 throughout the contract duration.

This exceptional offer pertains to the 256GB variant, while the 512GB model has seen a decline to £28 per month (previously £31).

Both models necessitate a £12 upfront payment, which can be paired with one of Sky’s data packages, currently available at half their usual price for the initial three months.

Among the available options are a 10GB plan for £7 (down from £14) and a 50GB plan for £10 (originally £20).

Additionally, the same attractive pricing applies to the new addition to Apple’s budget-friendly ‘e’ series, the iPhone 16e, now priced at £16 (previously £17) over a 36-month span.

These promotions will remain active until June 17, subject to certain stipulations. Notably, while Sky’s iPhone Air contracts extend over 36 months, customers have the option to upgrade to a new device after 24 months without incurring extra fees, as reported by the Mirror.

Sky Mobile has reduced the iPhone Air’s price by £108, lowering it from £27 to £24 when financing the purchase.

Moreover, Sky has indicated that its pricing “may fluctuate” during the contractual term. In a related offering, Carphone Warehouse presents the iPhone Air on a condensed 24-month contract for £35.99 monthly, which includes 100GB of data at no extra charge, requiring an upfront payment of £29.

For those eschewing contracts, Amazon has recently cut £250 from the iPhone Air’s price, bringing its retail price down to £749 (previously £999) in Cloud White, Space Black, or Sky Blue hues.

Technology Editor Dave Snelling lauded the iPhone Air at Apple’s unveiling event in California, describing its design as possessing the “wow factor.”

“The Air measures a mere 5.6mm in thickness, making it not only the thinnest iPhone yet created but also narrower than Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge,” he remarked.

“Photographs fail to capture the exquisite design of the device. It certainly commands attention and fits easily into those snug jeans.”

Snelling further highlighted the handset’s “exceptionally powerful” A19 Pro chip, famously integral to the premium iPhone 17 Pro models.

“This advanced processor ensures the Air fulfills your daily digital requirements while providing commendable performance during mobile gaming,” he added.

Nevertheless, he cautioned potential iPhone Air buyers to consider certain important factors: “In order to maintain its slender profile, Apple has incorporated a single rear camera, eliminating the ultra-wide and telephoto capabilities.”

The company claims its 48MP Fusion camera system delivers a variety of photographic options, such as differing focal lengths and portrait mode.

It can record video in crisp 4K with Dolby Vision, but this remains a noticeable compromise for dedicated photography enthusiasts, he acknowledged.

He also noted that battery longevity might not rival other iPhone iterations, mentioning: A thinner device inherently accommodates a smaller battery.

Apple assures all-day usage, but acknowledges the Air will not match the same battery performance as the iPhone 17 Pro.
