Anticipation Builds for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
Apple is poised to reveal its highly anticipated iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max this September. While these devices share many features, recent leaks indicate that the Pro Max variant will significantly enhance battery performance.
Recent documentation uncovered in a Chinese regulatory database hints that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will come equipped with a robust 5,567mAh battery in the United States, in contrast to the iPhone 18 Pro’s 4,288mAh power source.
Although a larger battery for the Pro Max is to be expected, this year’s advancements in battery longevity appear notably impressive.
If these figures hold true, the iPhone 18 Pro Max would boast nearly a 10% battery size increase over its predecessor, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, while the battery for the iPhone 18 Pro is projected to grow by a mere 1% compared to the iPhone 17 Pro.
Moreover, speculation suggests that the iPhone 18 Pro Max may be thicker than the iPhone 18 Pro, potentially to accommodate this larger battery.
Historically, the Pro Max variant sometimes introduces camera capabilities ahead of the Pro; however, this pattern is unlikely this year. The primary 48-megapixel Fusion camera is rumored to feature variable aperture technology on both models.
Ultimately, aside from being larger and heavier, the Pro Max and Pro will present as nearly identical devices, with the most significant differentiation stemming from the battery life enhancements.
Leaker Cautions on Durability of New iPhone 18 Pro Colors
A prominent leaker from Weibo has reiterated that the iPhone 18 Pro will maintain its aluminum alloy construction, providing a cautionary note regarding the potential for paint peeling on the new color palettes.
The leaker, known as “Fixed Focus Digital,” stated the aluminum alloy build facilitates excellent heat dissipation.
iPhone 18 Pro Set to Launch in Three Months with Ten New Features
Although the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are not expected until September, rumors are already swirling regarding their specifications.
Initial reports suggested that the models would feature fully integrated under-screen Face ID technology, allowing only a solitary front camera in the top-left corner of the display.
Recent intel, however, implies that merely one Face ID component may be transitioned underneath the screen.
Siri’s Design Evolution in iOS 27 and What’s Next for iPhone 18

In iOS 27, Siri’s interface has transformed into a glowing pill-shaped orb emanating from the Dynamic Island, although future iterations may adopt a circular form for next-generation iPhones.
Rather than the previous glowing light that traced the display edges, this innovative design conceals the actual cutouts in a swirling Siri orb, similar to other Dynamic Island animations.
