Reiterating this sentiment during his monthly radio program, Mann Ki Baat, on Sunday, the Prime Minister provided concrete examples of how AI is positively impacting lives, highlighting two innovative products showcased at the summit.
Modi declared that the AI Impact Summit had “proved to be a turning point” in delineating how the global community will harness artificial intelligence’s potential in the future, according to PTI news agency.
Among the impressive displays, the first product highlighted was demonstrated at Amul’s booth, illustrating how AI facilitates animal care and enables farmers to monitor their livestock round the clock.
The second product addressed cultural preservation, showcasing how AI aids in the safeguarding and modernization of ancient texts, knowledge, and manuscripts. “At the India AI Impact Summit, world leaders were impressed by these AI breakthroughs,” the Prime Minister noted.
‘Some People See Fear in AI, India Sees Opportunity’
While addressing summit delegates on Thursday, PM Modi underscored a contrasting narrative: where many nations perceive AI with trepidation, India embraces it as a catalyst for progress.
“Some people see fear in AI, but India sees fortune and future in it,” he stated. Modi emphasized the importance of democratizing AI, ensuring that humans do not merely serve as data points or raw material.
“We must democratize AI. It must become a medium for inclusion and empowerment, particularly for the Global South,” he emphasized.
In his ANI interview, PM Modi expounded that AI stands at “a civilizational inflection point,” elucidating the summit’s focus on “Impact.”
Highlighting AI’s potential, he described it as a “transformative opportunity” toward a developed Bharat.

“Leveraging AI mindfully, with a strategic lens, helps address deep developmental challenges while creating entirely new economic opportunities, enabling inclusive growth, bridging the urban-rural divide, and expanding access to opportunity,” he elaborated.
However, the Prime Minister also acknowledged that concerns regarding bias and limitations surrounding AI remain “deeply relevant.”
