Prosus, a prominent global technology entity, has unveiled an extensive three-year partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) aimed at amplifying AI applications throughout its technology network across Latin America, Europe, and India. This collaboration will permit Prosus portfolio companies to jointly develop next-generation AI solutions with AWS.
The Global Partnership Agreement is set to empower select Prosus portfolio companies—among them iFood, OLX, PayU, Despegar, eMag, and Just Eat Takeaway.com—to leverage AWS’s state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure and advanced AI capabilities, facilitating the delivery of hyper-personalised customer experiences on a global scale.
Transforming E-Commerce through AI Innovation
Prosus is instituting AI-driven innovation as a standard across its entire ecosystem, building upon the remarkable success of iFood’s pioneering Large Commerce Model (LCM).
This agentic AI system facilitates hyper-personalised search and recommendation solutions for Brazil’s foremost delivery platform, which processes an impressive 180 million orders monthly.
By employing long-term memory that learns from outcomes and comprehends consumer intent, the system enhances the customer experience, continually improving with each interaction.

The agreement revolves around five strategic pillars aimed at enhancing operational excellence within the Prosus ecosystem:

- Implementing robust security frameworks across all portfolio companies.
- Optimising cloud expenditure through FinOps methodologies.
- Developing standardised technology templates for expedited deployment across all portfolio companies.
