UAE and US Forge Agreement to Enhance Energy and AI Collaboration
President Sheik Mohamed has presided over the formal exchange of a pivotal agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, aimed at bolstering joint ventures in the realms of energy and artificial intelligence.
The accord stipulates cooperative efforts to advance industrial capabilities and embrace cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. It encompasses initiatives related to AI applications in robotics and automation, as well as fostering mechanisms for knowledge transfer and capacity enhancement.
The signing of this agreement took place at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, officiated by Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
He is also the managing director and group chief executive of Adnoc, alongside Doug Burgum, US Secretary of the Interior and Chairman of the National Energy Dominance Council.
In statements relayed by WAM news agency, Dr. Al Jaber underscored that this agreement epitomizes the leadership’s ambition to forge substantial global partnerships.
This collaboration, he emphasized, serves as a testament to the UAE’s dedication toward leveraging its energy expertise to cultivate a knowledge-driven economy.
Mr. Burgum remarked that this alliance is emblematic of the resolute commitments made by President Donald Trump during his recent visit to the UAE.
