UAE Government and Samsung Launch Registration for Samsung Innovation Campus 2026
The Artificial Intelligence Office within the UAE Government, in partnership with Samsung Gulf Electronics, has officially commenced registration for the Samsung Innovation Campus 2026.
This initiative is designed to empower young Emirati talent with essential technical and practical capabilities necessary for the creation of artificial intelligence solutions, ultimately bolstering their capability to convert knowledge into innovations that enrich the competitiveness of the national economy and foster a sustainable economic future.
This year’s iteration introduces a novel training pathway focusing on generative AI, equipping participants with hands-on skills in a domain that is not only burgeoning but also experiencing rapid evolution.
The curriculum presents a thorough educational journey that transitions from fundamental principles to intricate applications, encompassing Python programming and its associated libraries, probability and statistics, as well as machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
Dr. Abdelrahman Al Mahmoud, the Director at the Artificial Intelligence Office, emphasized that nurturing national talent is a cornerstone of the UAE’s strategy concerning artificial intelligence.
He articulated that arming the youth with extensive knowledge and practical expertise enhances their potential to spearhead technological transformation and furnishes them with the necessary tools to devise solutions that prioritize development and bolster the economy of the future.
He further noted that collaborations with prominent global technology firms forge vital avenues to synchronize skill enhancement with the demands of future industries, while simultaneously granting the youth access to requisite expertise and resources to pilot their concepts into functional applications.

This programme forms part of Samsung’s global Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed at cultivating artificial intelligence competencies and empowering the forthcoming generation of innovators.
The 2026 edition will facilitate the growth of AI skills among young UAE nationals, contributing to the UAE’s ongoing emphasis on enhancing local expertise in advanced technology.
The structure of the programme merges expert-led training sessions, self-directed learning, practical applications, and projects addressing real-world challenges.
This comprehensive approach affords participants pragmatic technical experience while augmenting the UAE’s reservoir of specialized artificial intelligence talent.

Applicants must possess foundational knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), inclusive of statistics and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and C++, alongside prior programming experience.
Those shortlisted will be subject to an admission assessment to ascertain their suitability for the programme.
Since its inception in the UAE in 2022, the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) has been equipping young individuals with forward-thinking skills in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Python, Data Science, and Deep Learning, in collaboration with the UAE’s Office of Artificial Intelligence.

The programme, through a mix of expert-led instruction, self-study, practical exercises, and real-world projects, imparts participants with practical technical acumen, thus preparing them for the dynamic digital economy.
