The Pi Vision 10.1 CM5 exhibits compatibility with the Yocto Linux-based Clea OS, which offers “enterprise-grade management” functionalities including over-the-air (OTA) updates, remote management capabilities, and AI-at-the-edge solutions. Alternatively, users may choose Raspberry Pi OS for rapid prototyping needs.
Notably, this HMI product utilizes components from the “Raspberry Pi Development Kit for CM5,” merging the CM5 module, IO board, and a custom-modified metal casing to provide a holistic solution.
Unlike typical offerings that necessitate bespoke carrier boards, SECO opted for a HAT (CSF33REVB) accompanied by the Texas Instruments SN65DSI83-Q1 automotive-grade MIPI DSI to LVDS bridge, showcasing their mechanical engineering ingenuity. Internal design

Although it is not the first Raspberry Pi CM5 HMI with a 10.1-inch touchscreen—competing solutions from EDATEC and Chipsee were introduced earlier this year—the SECO model distinguishes itself with its IP66-rated front panel, a feature not prominently mentioned in rival products at launch (notably, EDATEC’s variant is now only rated at IP65).
Initially unveiled at Embedded World 2025, the SECO Pi Vision 10.1 CM5 is currently available in limited quantities, beginning at an introductory price of €239.
