Debuted in late 2024 by internet privacy advocate Rob Braxman, this handset garnered an impressive US$2.3 million through crowdfunding efforts.
The open_slate is anchored by an octa-core MediaTek Genio 720 chipset and features a 12-inch display ensconced in a robust TPU-reinforced chassis.
Diverging from conventional tablets, this model boasts an array of ports and hardware switches, capable of running Android and Linux-based systems right out of the box.
