The second edition of Mint’s All About AI Tech4Good Awards and Summit, presented by Salesforce, convened an array of industry luminaries, trailblazers, and policymakers to honor the revolutionary potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in engendering societal change.
Held in Mumbai, the event underscored AI’s pivotal role in elevating communities, promoting inclusiveness, and tackling urgent global issues including sustainability, education, healthcare, and financial inclusion.

The evening commenced with a compelling keynote delivered by Binoy Prabhakar, Chief Content Officer, HT Digital Streams. He emphasized the necessity of leveraging technology judiciously to transform lives.

A virtual address by Amitabh Kant, former G20 Sherpa and ex-CEO of NITI Aayog, highlighted the imperative for India to cultivate autonomous AI capabilities.
India must embark on audacious endeavors to construct a flourishing end-to-end AI ecosystem. The prospects are vast, and the potential for global influence is unparalleled, he stated.
Additionally, a special address from Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT, showcased India’s advancements in AI and digital public infrastructure.
He noted, “India’s narrative regarding digital public infrastructure exemplifies how technology can empower citizens while extending access to public services.”

A fireside chat at the event featured Arundhati Bhattacharya and Raghav Gupta, Head of Education – India and Asia Pacific at OpenAI.
They deliberated on the transformative effects of generative AI within educational settings, its potential to democratize learning, and the imperative of guiding young users toward responsible AI usage.
The summit also hosted two engaging discussions. The first panel, moderated by Leslie D’Monte, Consulting Editor at Mint, examined the theme of scaling responsibly with generative and agentic AI.
