However, a recently resurfaced video has revealed that the groundwork for an AI-centric enterprise was established a staggering twenty-five years ago.
In this archival footage from the year 2000, mere two years post-Google’s inception, co-founder Larry Page anticipates the exact technological paradigm that would characterize the company a quarter-century later.
“Were we to possess the ultimate search engine, it would inherently grasp everything on the web,” Page articulates in the video.
“It would precisely understand your needs and deliver the appropriate content. This, without a doubt, epitomizes artificial intelligence—being able to resolve any inquiry, as nearly all knowledge resides online,” he elucidates.
