A Prominent Player in the Global Jigsaw Industry Partners with Hull’s Digital Marketing Expertise
The Ravensburger Group, a titan within the international puzzle and game market, has enlisted the services of a digital marketing firm in Hull, aiming to orchestrate a campaign that will enhance its competitive landscape across the globe.
Mike Ellis, accompanied by colleagues Marisa Crimlis-Brown (centre) and Ayeisha Thompson, is strategizing elements of their collaborative venture with the esteemed Ravensburger Group.
Based in Germany, the Ravensburger Group recently declared an impressive turnover of 790 million Euros. The partnership with 43 Clicks North is strategically designed to bolster market presence in the UK, the United States, Germany, and France.
The initiative primarily focuses on amplifying the company’s direct-to-consumer strategy, an evolution for a brand that has thrived since 1883.
Mike Ellis, Founder of 43 Clicks North, remarked, “We are collaborating with a brand ubiquitous in the homes of my friends!
They already enjoy substantial recognition, contending with other industry giants; our mission is to elevate brand visibility and solidify their status as a household entity.”
Ravensburger stands as a premier name across Europe, celebrated for its extensive collection of games, puzzles, and arts and crafts offerings.
The brand’s distinctive blue triangle is readily identifiable on retail shelves at renowned establishments such as Hamleys, Hobbycraft, Smyths Toys Superstores, and The Works.
Marisa Crimlis-Brown, Senior Client Manager at 43 Clicks North, added, “Their product line features associations with iconic brands like Disney, Peppa Pig, and Gravitax—delivering high-quality, engaging, and educational experiences that resonate deeply with children.”
The 43 Clicks North team joyfully scoured their personal toy collections to curate a mini Ravensburger showcase in their office, highlighted by a Ravensburger custom puzzle consisting of 1,000 pieces depicting a vibrant map of Hull.
Having commenced collaboration earlier this year on paid media strategies within the UK, the success of this venture has led to an expansion to encompass search engine optimization efforts across the UK, the United States, Germany, and France.

Interestingly, the initial seeds of this partnership were sown over five years ago, following a successful project for another client that connected a pivotal contact now serving at Ravensburger.
Mike elaborated, “Our contact regards us as dependable allies, stemming from previous fruitful engagements.
He transitioned to a different company and seeks the same caliber of service that we delivered during our earlier collaboration.”
“The rapport with our contact holds significant importance; he has returned to us based on our proven track record. This trust allows them to have confidence in our capabilities for their global brand.”
Mark Sutherland, Head of Global Direct to Consumer E-commerce at Ravensburger, expressed, I am delighted to reintegrate with 43 Clicks North, having previously collaborated with them.
Throughout our relationship, Mike and his team have consistently delivered exceptional expertise that has significantly enhanced traffic, orders, and overall financial outcomes.
