Recently, reports have emerged offering a potential glimpse into the color variants that might accompany this highly awaited device.
Color Options for the iPhone 18 Pro Max:
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg previously suggested that orange would not be the preferred hue for this year’s iPhone 18 Pro Max, hinting instead at a potential “Dark Red” variant.
In a subsequent report from Macworld, citing informants within Apple’s supply chain, it is suggested that both the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max may be unveiled in a spectrum of colors: Light Blue (Pantone 2121), Dark Cherry (Pantone 6076), Dark Grey (Pantone 426C), and Silver (Pantone 427C).
This report indicates that since the iPhone 18 Pro series is yet to enter mass production, Apple has the latitude to alter these color choices.
Interestingly, Macworld had previously claimed that the iPhone 17 Pro Max would debut in a black or steel grey variant—a color that ultimately never saw the light of day.
Anticipated Features of the iPhone 18 Pro Max:
It is expected that the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will feature displays measuring 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively, utilizing the ProMotion OLED technology familiar from last year’s models. Moreover, the Dynamic Island cutout may see a reduction in size, being approximately 35 percent smaller than its predecessor.
Additionally, Apple appears poised to abandon the dual-tone aesthetic from the previous year, favoring instead a cohesive look with a seamless back glass integrated with an aluminum frame.
The devices are likely to be powered by the prospective A20 chip, crafted using TSMC’s 2nm fabrication process, promising a 15 percent boost in speed and a 30 percent improvement in energy efficiency compared to the previous generation.
Potentially, the iPhone 18 Pro Max may host the largest battery capacity ever seen in an iPhone, ranging from 5,100 to 5,200mAh. Furthermore, it is anticipated to utilize Apple’s proprietary C2 modem, moving away from the Qualcomm modem utilized in its predecessor.
