Innovative Learning Initiative Now Open to Thousands of Students

In a progressive move, twenty after-school and summer programs throughout the state will grant nearly 7,000 students access to Unruly Splats—interactive programmable floor buttons that illuminate, emit sounds, and tally points when activated by footfalls.

In conjunction with this avant-garde equipment, participants will receive extensive professional development, 130 hours of meticulously crafted curriculum, and enduring support.

“Every stomp, jump, and laugh embodies an opportunity for learning,” states Bryanne Leeming, Founder of Unruly Studios. “As children engage in movement together, they are not merely honing skills in math and coding—they are uncovering the joy, social connection, and entertainment inherent in the learning process.”

This initiative boasts two years of comprehensive funding, aiming to document quantifiable improvements in both academic performance and overall well-being. The participating organizations aspire to develop a replicable model that can be adopted by states nationwide.

“This collaboration fosters children’s ability to move, connect, and cultivate STEM skills that will benefit them well beyond the confines of the school day,” comments Patrice Holt, Quality Manager at GSAN of Voices for Georgia’s Children.

“The anticipation surrounding the integration of Unruly Splats into our summer camp—and the imminent school year—is unparalleled,” remarks Charon Prophet, Founder and CEO of Elevation of 5c’s in Hogansville, GA, a key participant in this initiative.

“Our students are not just exercising; they are thinking critically, developing motor skills, strategizing collaboratively, and gaining confidence each day.”
