This overheating could lead to a malfunction that prevents the rearview display from functioning while reversing. Concurrently, select 2020-2022 Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair vehicles, along with the 2020-2024 Lincoln Aviator and Explorer models, may exhibit issues where the rearview images appear flipped or inverted.

The recalls encompass 849,310 units of the Bronco and Edge, in addition to 889,950 Escapes, Corsairs, Aviators, and Explorers. Ford estimates that these defects are present in all affected vehicles.
