Dyson Teams Up with Porter for Exclusive Headphones Collaboration
Dyson’s OnTrac wireless headphones have garnered attention as the brand’s inaugural venture into audio engineering, characterised by their customizable colour options. Now, the design-centric over-ear headphones are receiving a fresh reinterpretation through an intriguing partnership with Porter.
This amalgamation of British innovation and Japanese artistry has birthed a distinctively colored headset, accompanied by a meticulously crafted Porter shoulder bag.
The latter, engineered in Japan, comprises 77 individual components and incorporates water-resistant materials, all while echoing the colour palette used in the OnTrac design.
Porter’s legacy dates back to 1935, when it was founded by Yoshida & Co. Celebrated for its cult-classic products, the brand marks its 90-year anniversary as a significant influence in product design and streetwear.
Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer at Dyson, expressed that the collaboration encapsulates the very essence that inspired the OnTrac headphones. “In creating the Dyson OnTrac, our goal was to forge an object of reverence—an amalgamation of precise engineering and elegant design,” he remarked.”
Japanese design, rooted in simplicity and functionality, has perpetually inspired our ethos. This partnership with Porter is a tribute to Japan’s rich craftsmanship heritage and its substantial impact on global fashion and technology.”

The shoulder bag boasts a sophisticated navy colourway, complemented by cinnabar orange and khaki highlights that are mirrored in the OnTrac’s ear cushions and headband.
It features a laser-etched Porter logo on the ear cups and includes a dedicated headphone carry holder alongside a distinct ‘Dyson OnTrac tech slice’.

This visible resin tag encapsulates components gleaned from the design and engineering of the OnTrac model.
Each tech slice is distinct, enhancing the limited-edition appeal of this collaboration. Only 380 sets are being produced and will be available at select Dyson and Porter retail locations worldwide.
