CLEARFIELD — During the recent meeting of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center’s (CCCTC) Joint Operating Committee, significant staffing changes were unveiled, highlighting the departures of both the principal and assistant principal, alongside several other employees.
As articulated by Executive Director Melissa Mowrey, Principal Tiffany Cover will officially resign on September 24, having accepted a new role at a cyber school. Cover has held the position since December 2019, contributing notably to the institution’s leadership.
Doreen Hoover, Vice Chairwoman of the JOC and a representative of the Curwensville Area School District, extended her gratitude to Cover on behalf of the board, wishing her success in her future endeavors.
The assistant principal, Darin Ricciotti, has also announced his resignation to assume the role of high school principal at Tyrone Area School District, as confirmed by Mowrey. Ricciotti’s tenure at CCCTC began in June 2023.
In addition, Melanie Holt will vacate her position as the director of practical nursing, effective June 30. The board has appointed Roberta Bradford, a practical nursing instructor, as her successor, with an annual salary set at $80,000.
Other notable resignations include Taylor Nussbaum, who is stepping down as a practical nursing instructor effective August 22, and Greg Barger, who is retiring from his role as carpentry instructor.
The CCCTC board resolved to seek replacements for the vacated positions, with the notable exception of the assistant principal’s role, which will remain unfilled.
