Apple Increases Trade-In Values for Key Products Ahead of September Event
Apple has augmented the Trade-In Values for several of its flagship products, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch within the United States, as reported by 9to5Mac.
This strategic decision precedes Apple’s highly anticipated September event, where the company is rumored to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro series, alongside its inaugural foldable iPhone, among other innovations.
Tim Cook has indicated that escalating costs of memory and storage components render price increases “inevitable.” Following a price adjustment in June, the prices for iPhone and Apple Watch had remained static.

This initiative further suggests Apple’s preparation for potential price elevations regarding the iPhone next month. Excluding unchanged values and recently added devices, trade-in values have shifted within the following ranges:
- iPhone: +2.4% to +14.3%
- Apple Watch: +3.8% to +10.0%
- iPad: +4.3% to +13.2%
- Mac: +7.0% to +28.0%
- Android: −7.7% to +6.3%
Should your device not be among those listed, Apple provides a recycling option, albeit without any discounts on new purchases.
