Certain U.S. states now permit residents to integrate their driver’s licenses or state-issued IDs into the Apple Wallet application on both iPhone and Apple Watch platforms.
This innovative functionality allows users to exhibit proof of identity or age at designated airports, establishments, and within specific applications.
As of today, this capability is accessible in Arkansas, marking it as the 14th state to implement this feature. Nevertheless, the complete rollout to all eligible users may require some time.
To activate this functionality, users should access the Wallet application on their iPhone and tap the plus icon located in the upper-right corner.
Following this, select Driver’s License and ID Cards, choose Arkansas from the provided list, and adhere to the step-by-step instructions displayed on the screen.
