Amazfit, the premier wearable technology brand under Zepp Health, has introduced the T-Rex Ultra 2 GPS smartwatch, meticulously engineered for use in the most challenging environments and exploratory adventures.
This innovative device marries durability with sophisticated biotracking functionalities, ensuring an impressive battery endurance of up to 30 days.
The smartwatch boasts an array of monitoring features, including heart rate, sleep quality, blood oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, and stress levels.
Its comprehensive sleep-tracking algorithm assesses various sleep stages and breathing patterns to deliver nuanced insights into the user’s overall rest quality.
Health data is readily accessible via the Zepp App, which offers trend analyses and historical comparisons of both activity levels and biometric metrics.
In addition to health tracking, the T-Rex Ultra 2 facilitates phone calls and text messaging, making it compatible with both Apple and Android devices.
Enhanced with integrated GPS, a built-in flashlight, and an impressive water resistance rating of 100 meters (328 feet) for durations up to 10 minutes, this smartwatch prepares users for virtually any outdoor challenge.
Engineered for resilience, this smartwatch includes a Low Temperature Mode, maintaining essential functionality in frigid conditions as extreme as -22°F (-30°C). Zepp Health has clearly targeted users who depend on navigation and endurance metrics in demanding outdoor settings.

He further noted that this device complements the T-Rex 3 Pro in the company’s extensive T-Rex series, aimed primarily at expedition-focused applications.
The T-Rex Ultra 2 is priced at $549.99 and was made available for purchase on February 19.
The Wider Landscape
In 2024, Zepp Health unveiled Zepp OS, its smartwatch operating system, which is integrated with OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o model. This system includes Zepp Flow, a voice assistant facilitating hands-free control without the need for predefined verbal cues.
That same year, Amazfit entered into a strategic partnership with Wild.AI to embed hormone and cycle tracking features within its wearable devices. Subsequently, Zepp Health acquired Wild.AI’s core assets and proprietary technology, further enhancing its capabilities geared toward women’s health.
