Revolutionizing Cybersecurity: The Emergence of 63SATS Cybertech’s CYBX
In the face of increasingly sophisticated AI-driven cyberattacks, traditional security models have proven inadequate.
To address this pressing challenge, 63SATS Cybertech, a subsidiary of 63 Moons Technologies, has developed an innovative software platform targeting smartphone users throughout India.
This platform not only enhances cybersecurity but also integrates comprehensive insurance, effectively establishing a dual layer of protection.
The cybersecurity firm has ingeniously combined software security and cyber insurance into a singular, dynamic application: CYBX. This super app is designed to fortify the defenses of everyday mobile users against malicious threats.
In partnership with ICICI Lombard, a prominent general insurer, 63SATS Cybertech offers a robust financial safety net to users of its cybersecurity application.
Joint Managing Director and Joint CEO Srinivas L highlighted that the Indian smartphone user base can now benefit from exchange-grade security along with insurance coverage reaching up to ₹10 lakh.
“With protections against more than 100 distinctive threats—including digital safety, financial fraud, privacy breaches, identity monitoring, and network vulnerabilities—our CYBX app strives to democratize cybersecurity for every Indian household,” he stated during an interview with PTI.
Srinivas elaborated on the app’s functionality, describing CYBX as a digital companion and silent guardian. It discreetly operates in the background of smartphones to detect phishing links, identify harmful applications, and alert users to unsafe public Wi-Fi networks that could jeopardize their sensitive information.
“Furthermore, it safeguards call privacy by notifying users of unauthorized call recording or speakerphone use, ensuring that personal conversations remain confidential,” he emphasized.
As the domestic digital economy expands, so too does the landscape of vulnerabilities. Srinivas remarked, “The app delivers 360-degree security for the average user. Notably, we offer an India-first mobile cybersecurity policy that includes built-in cyber insurance, covering amounts ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹10 lakh.”
This cybersecurity technology platform, paired with financial safety provisions, presents a comprehensive solution for every personal smartphone user, facilitating affordable protection for all Indians.
- The cyber insurance covers losses related to online shopping, identity theft, and data breach liability.
- It also addresses media and social media liability, theft of funds, and losses stemming from cyberbullying and cyberstalking, along with reputational damage due to such incidents.

However, it is important to note that the insurer will not cover claims arising from pre-existing knowledge known to the insured prior to the policy’s inception, nor does it extend coverage to cryptocurrency-related losses or gambling activities.
Srinivas concluded by expressing the company’s ambition to integrate digital safety into daily routines through the CYBX app and its accompanying cyber insurance.
