xristina: I forgot to tell you that when I had the site locally in my pc the module worked perfectly. And the problem began when the site was online..in the internet. I hope that you understand what I want to say…:) Thanks once more!

Support Team: OK, In that case can you please provide us the URL of your website where the error is coming?

xristina: Yes of course, the url is ###—URL HIDDEN—### Thank you!

Support Team: Yes, your problem is in your folder permission. Just do the following:

  1. Login to your server’s root directory using FTP.
  2. Then go to “modules/mod_rsflashion/”.
  3. Here you can find one folder called “xml”. Chmod this folder to “755”.
  4. Then go to “modules/mod_rsflashion/xml/”.
  5. Here you can find one/some files like rsflashion_XXX.xml, here XXX can be any number. Just delete these kind of files.
  6. Then reload your website.

xristina: Thank you a lot for your help!! Is working!! Have a nice day!

  1. We are using RSmonials component(scroller) for joomla 1.5.x. the oldest (year 2012) testimonial displays first. How do we get the latest (current year) testimonials to display first? one testimonial displayed at a time on screen refresh.

    • You can use our “RSMonials module”. In the module parameter you can set the “Testimonial IDs” that you wish to display. Also choose “display Type” as “Serially”.

    Can you help me?

    • Edit your server’s php.ini file (server configuration file) and set “display_errors” to “Off”. Then test your website and let us know the status.

  5. Where can i find which path to use? Do i need to upload my photos in media manager first? Can i find the correct path there?

    • Yes, you can use Media Manager. Using Media Manager just create one new folder and then upload slideshow images on that folder.

Say you created one new folder “slideshow_images” under the “images” folder. Then your image folder path will be “images/slideshow_images/”.

And say you uploaded one image called “slide1.jpg”. Then the image path will be “images/slideshow_images/slide1.jpg”.

  6. Getting following error with rsflashion, tried every thing mentioned on the existing post, updating flash etc. this was a working site for last 2 years, it happened suddenly after site went down due to account issues

          2) If the “Warning” is coming and also the module is not working, then please contact our support team along with your website URL. You can contact from this page: https://www.rswebsols.com/support
