RSSimpSlide is a Joomla Module works natively in Joomla environment. This is a flash fade-in and fade-out slideshow module. You can control the loop function, the use of random playback of images, the transition time between slides as well as the display time of an image. All from the admin module parameters. This is a free extension. The features are:

  • Customizable width, height and background color of the slideshow.
  • You have option to randomize the images. Otherwise images will ordered according to the file name of the images.
  • You can choose the option to specify the images will loop at the end of slideshow or not.
  • It is also possible to manage the slideshow time and the transition speed.
  • Slideshow can display all images from a folder. Or if you wish you can able to set individual images also.

    thanks for your Slidders, very simple and nice.
    i’ve just a little problem, my Background color never changes !

      Please set the following in the module parameter section:

      1. Background Color = YOUR_BG_COLOR (i.e. ffffff, f6f6f6, 000000 or similar hex code of the color).

      2. Background Transparency = 100.

    Slideshow is working perfectly. Only bad thing (which should be mentioned or am I reading over it) is that it is using Flash for displaying the slides.
    Flash is abandoned for mobile devices even by Adobe.

    But otherwise, great flexible module.

    I’m testing it but the only thing I get is 3 dots.
    I’m only using 2x small images 13Kb together

    Hello i want to ask if this module stretch the images to fit at the slideshow,because i want to use the backround as a border but i cant.i put smaller images but still cant see the backround

      just edit your server’s php.ini file and set “display_errors” to “Off”. This settings is also recommended by Joomla.

    The slideshow is not working. I am using Joomla 2.5 and it only shows a picture of some smartphones. I used option: Basic with a path to images/slideshow/
    The pictures in that particular dir are not showing.
    Tomorrow I wil try another slideshow.
