Qualcomm is making significant strides in the PC market with its newly announced Snapdragon X2 Elite series at the 2025 Snapdragon Summit in Maui.
These second-generation Arm-based chips are engineered for high-performance Windows laptops, offering up to a 31% increase in CPU performance while maintaining power levels, or delivering the same performance with a reduction of 43% in power consumption compared to the earlier Snapdragon X Elite.

The X2 Elite series comprises three models, all manufactured using TSMC’s cutting-edge 3nm process technology.
