Samsung Launches New Galaxy S25 FE to Rival iPhone 17
Samsung has introduced a new contender in its Galaxy smartphone series, aiming to challenge Apple’s recently unveiled iPhone 17. This announcement follows the launch of the Galaxy S25 FE earlier this month, which has been described as “the latest and most accessible entry in the Galaxy S25 lineup.”
The timing of this release strategically precedes Apple’s annual showcase, during which the tech titan unveiled its newest smartphones, including the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air.
The Galaxy S25 FE is part of Samsung’s budget-conscious “Fan Edition” series, retailing at £649 through Samsung and Amazon. This price point is £150 less than that of the iPhone 17. This smartphone sports a 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP main camera. Additionally, it provides 256GB of storage, a robust 4,900 mAh battery, and boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
