Aboitiz Foundation Enhances Digital Education with Elevate AIDA Program
The Aboitiz Foundation has garnered commendation for its Elevate AIDA (Artificial Intelligence Data Annotation) initiative, which aspires to facilitate both accessible and inclusive digital learning opportunities. This program particularly targets women and mothers desiring remote employment.

In locales beyond Metro Manila, digital devices often carry a 20 to 30 percent premium, rendering them unaffordable for many. The laptops from HTP aim to bridge this affordability chasm, ensuring inclusivity across communities.
The Secretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) praised the collaboration, referring to this initiative as a manifestation of “digital bayanihan.”
“As the President advocates, collaboration with the private sector is vital; this truly exemplifies public-private partnership. Connecting people equates to connecting them with opportunities,” Aguda stated.
Co articulated her views, saying, “Occurrences like this illuminate our collective hope—hope manifested in opportunities for succeeding generations. This endeavor ensures they are not merely keeping pace but finding their rightful place in the digital landscape.”
Co noted that the shared advocacy of Aboitiz Foundation and GDP constitutes a long-term commitment.
“Our mission is straightforward: to simplify life and instill hope for every Filipino,” she asserted. “Technology ought to serve as a pivotal equalizer, particularly in the realm of education.”
While donations mark a significant initial stride, Co emphasized that sustained tracking, maintenance, and community engagement are equally imperative to realize the enduring benefits of the laptops.
The laptops for learning support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4, which champions quality education by furnishing students in marginalized areas with the necessary tools for accessing digital learning.
Concurrently, they bolster Goal 9 by fostering innovation and digital infrastructure, and Goal 10 by confronting the stark inequalities in access to technology and information.
