A staggering 53,000 Cognizant associates from 40 nations participated in the Vibe Coding event, focusing on the evolution of work and expediting AI literacy across the enterprise.

Over a span of ten days, 53,199 Cognizant associates across 40 countries engaged in a Vibe Coding event, a pioneering initiative aimed at democratizing innovation and fostering AI fluency at scale.
An official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS adjudicator validated Cognizant’s accomplishment in the category of most participants in an online generative AI hackathon, exceeding the previous record.
The event not only solidified its world record status but also produced 30,601 innovative ideas and operational prototypes submitted by associates worldwide.
These submissions ranged from a wellness companion app aimed at busy professionals to a tool ensuring brand compliance within corporate marketing strategies.
Cognizant’s ground-breaking event welcomed associates from diverse business sectors—HR, sales, engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and delivery—to actively engage with AI development tools in a collaborative setting.
The “Vibe Coding Hub,” which provided access to vibe coding platforms from esteemed partners such as Lovable, Windsurf, Cursor, Gemini Code Assist, and GitHub Copilot, offered prompt engineering tutorials and hosted Masterclasses led by Cognizant’s AI experts and partners, created entirely within 24 hours using vibe coding techniques.
