Motorola Expands Premium Technology Portfolio with New Launches
In a strategic move to solidify its presence in the premium technology sector, Motorola has unveiled its latest offerings: the Moto Buds Ultra 27 wireless earbuds, the Moto Watch Fit 27 smartwatch, and the Signature 27 flagship smartphone.
These releases underscore Motorola’s aspiration to compete more vigorously with technology giants such as Apple and Samsung.
At the forefront of this accessory lineup are the Moto Buds Ultra 27, touted as Motorola’s most sophisticated wireless earbuds to date.
Enhanced by Bose-tuned acoustics, these earbuds offer adaptive noise cancellation coupled with AI-based translation features.
Each bud boasts an 11mm dynamic driver paired with a specialized balanced armature, engineered to provide a robust bass response, intricate highs, and an overall enriched sound experience.
The integration of Bose SoundDesign and QuietControl active noise cancellation automatically adapts to ambient noise, allowing for a seamless listening experience.
An innovative Transparency Mode enables users to remain aware of their surroundings without the need to remove the earbuds.
The earbuds are compatible with Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Head Tracking, although several functionalities necessitate a compatible Motorola smartphone.
Furthermore, Motorola has outfitted each earbud with three high-SNR microphones and a dedicated Voice Pickup Unit, ensuring superior call clarity and precise voice recordings.
Among the most notable additions is the AI Live Translate feature, facilitating real-time translated conversations when paired with a supporting Motorola device.
Additionally, the Qira AI assistant is integrated into the earbuds, allowing for quick access to information and assistance via a simple press of the left earbud. A hands-free “Hey Qira” activation is anticipated in the upcoming months.
Other innovative features encompass gesture controls for call management, automatic playback suspension upon earbud removal, dual-device connectivity, and Audio Share capabilities.
The battery performance is noteworthy, offering eight hours of use on a single charge, which extends to an impressive 37 hours with the charging case.
Wireless charging, Google Find Hub support, and an IP57 rating for water and dust resistance enhance the overall value of the product.
In conjunction with the earbuds, Motorola has also launched the Moto Watch Fit 27—a smartwatch geared toward fitness enthusiasts. It showcases a 1.85-inch gOLED display, reaching peak brightness of 1,500 nits.
This smartwatch features a lightweight aluminum chassis complemented by Gorilla Glass 3 for durability, along with a rotating crown and customizable button for user convenience.
Fitness tracking capabilities are powered by Polar technology, offering heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen assessments, sleep tracking, stress management, and automatic recognition of over 100 different workout types.
Moreover, it includes dual-frequency GPS, Bluetooth calling, and support for Motorola’s Qira assistant. Motorola claims that the battery life can extend up to 12 days when the always-on display is disabled, which decreases to approximately seven days with the feature activated. The smartwatch is also rated for IP68 and 5ATM water resistance.

Both the Moto Buds Ultra 27 and the Moto Watch Fit 27 are poised to make their debut in the U.S. market within the forthcoming months; however, Motorola has yet to disclose pricing or release dates for the Australian market.
Pricing for the UK has been set at £179.99 for the Moto Buds Ultra 27 and £99.99 for the Moto Watch Fit 27.
