“As a former employee of FedEx, I can attest to their notorious reputation.”
Deliveries are generally anticipated to be a straightforward process: a customer places an order, and then, within a matter of days, the package appears at their doorstep—seemingly without issue. However, for one woman from Florida, her delivery experience was fraught with complications.
What Did a FedEx Worker Allegedly Do to a Florida Woman’s iPhone 17 Pro Maxes?
Keezy (@officalkeee) shared a video on social media that garnered over 260,000 views. In this clip, she accused a FedEx employee of pilfering two iPhone 17 Pro Max devices she had ordered, substituting them with inferior phones.
According to her account, Keezy ordered both iPhones from Xfinity. Upon placing her order, she chose delivery, prompting Xfinity to engage FedEx as the carrier. As Keezy was not at home during the delivery, her girlfriend accepted the package.
Upon inspecting the parcel, her girlfriend observed that one of the devices was oriented upside down. Notably, the tape securing the box appeared to have been previously unsealed and hastily resealed.
When Keezy returned home, she opened the package only to discover a different phone, unrelated to her original purchase.
This led her to believe that the boxes had been tampered with, and the original iPhone 17 Pro Max devices had been substituted.
“So you all opened my box, re-taped it, and sent me this? Whose phone did you steal to put in my package? Where are my two iPhone Pro Maxes?” she questioned with frustration.
An Update on the Alleged iPhone Theft
Viewers in the comments section echoed sentiments that FedEx has a well-documented history of theft.
“Oh, FedEx is infamously known for stealing iPhones,” remarked one viewer.
Another commenter added, “Having worked in an Apple warehouse, I handled countless claims from customers asserting that FedEx had stolen their phones.”
In her video, Keezy declared her intention to confront FedEx staff in person at a location in Tallahassee, Florida, regarding the issue.
She also indicated that previous orders from other retailers had been fulfilled without complication, leading her to suspect FedEx’s involvement.
In a follow-up, Keezy informed her audience that she had filed a police report, aiding her pursuit of the claim with Xfinity. She expressed her discontent with FedEx’s lack of assistance throughout the process.
“FedEx has been utterly useless. We have the tracking number, yet they never bothered to contact us. It’s primarily been Xfinity and me trying to resolve this,” she lamented.
Later, Keezy detailed how she reordered the iPhones through Xfinity; however, the company instructed her to collect them in person at a FedEx outlet.
Unfortunately, she claimed that the website did not provide an option for arranging a pickup. Ultimately, she opted for delivery again, and this time, the phones arrived without incident.
Is Theft by FedEx Employees Commonplace?
While the phenomenon of delivery personnel stealing packages does not reach the threshold of an epidemic, numerous high-profile instances of package theft have emerged throughout the United States.
Notably, in 2026, a FedEx driver was apprehended after stealing $62,000 worth of packages, as reported by WAFB9 News.
In yet another case in 2023, a different FedEx driver was caught with stolen items valued at $34,000 inside his vehicle, according to The State.
In a broader sense, mail theft remains a significant concern for consumers. The Office of the Inspector General reported that at least 58 million packages were reported stolen in 2024.
This staggering figure has resulted in “substantial financial burdens and operational disruptions across the delivery and e-commerce ecosystems.”

Efforts to obtain commentary from both Keezy and FedEx have been initiated. Updates will be provided should they respond.
