Citing a Taiwanese industry source, The Elec disclosed that minor noises were detected during durability trials. However, this source reassured that the majority of these concerns have been effectively addressed.
Additionally, the report asserts that the iPhone Ultra has successfully absorbed the final verification phase, suggesting that development is on course as anticipated.
Mass Production Preparations Complete
According to the findings, Apple has sanctioned the shipment of foldable displays fabricated by Samsung Display. Preparations for mass production have reportedly advanced to the module stage.
Simultaneously, the hinge for the forthcoming foldable iPhone is being designed and sourced from Taiwan’s Hsinchu Hsing and the US-based Amphenol. With production groundwork evidently in place, the device seems poised for an impending launch.

Speculation suggests that Apple’s first foldable device may sport a 7.8-inch inner display alongside a 5.5-inch outer display.
It is also anticipated to be powered by the A20 chip and the C2 modem. Additional features purportedly include a power button embedded with Touch ID instead of Face ID, as well as a dual rear-camera system.
