    Hi,

I like the RS Flashion extension and it’s nice! But I found that it cannot automatically scale the images to a fixed size to fit for the screen like 1024 x 768. Actually, I use it to show the image jpg files in /images/stories/booklet folder, in which all of the images are individual page contains the text, so I have to keep a large file scale like 3xxx x 2xxx pixels. I want to use RS Flashion to shown the images in a scaled size.. but indeed the texts are cannot be seen, so I want to let the visitors to show the original big size of the images when they click on the image. Is it possible to do so? Besides, whenever I enabled the “resize” option, the front end always show the permission denied error about creating folder… I checked with other users in forum, it’s the talking issue of cannot create “resize” folder… (but I set the permission to 777 on resize under /images/stories/booklet , but the error still exist… any idea?

    Thanks in advance!

      Hi,

      Try the following:

      1. Set “Insert SWFOBJECT” to “true”.
      2. For Basic mode set the path “images/stories/MYSLIDESHOE/”. Make sure all folder name and path is correct.
      3. Then test your website.

      Thanks,
      Souvik

I just review this URL: “http://thepicturethememories.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=51&Itemid=53″. Here I notice that you entered only 3 images on RSFlashion module. The images are: images/stories/edit1.jpg, images/stories/edit2.jpg, images/stories/edit3.jpg. The module ID is 60. Please recheck it once. You do not need to set the “amount of images”. Say you have 4 images. Then you need to enter the relative path of 4 images (seperated by comma). Here is an example with 4 images:

          ———————————————————
          Image Configuration: ADVANCED

          Image(s) Path: images/image1.jpg, images/image2.jpg, images/image3.jpg, images/image4.jpg

          Links to images: http://www.example1.com/, http://www.example2.com/, http://www.example3.com/, http://www.example4.com/

Open link in: _self, _self, _blank, _blank

Navigation bar color: cccccc, efefef, ff0000, d1d1d1

          Navigation bar transparency: 70, 50, 80, 75

          Slideshow Time: 3, 5, 4, 5
          ———————————————————

Hi there I developed site “www.j****t.co.nz” on localhost but when I loaded on my webhost it I got a message about flash player 9+ – even thought I have flash 10 installed on my machine.

I removed the lines from mod_rssimpslide.php (which were right at the bottom) which has removed the message about flashplayer but has also stopped rssimpslide working.
<div id="RSSimpSlideModule_id; ?>”>In order to view this object you need Flash Player 9+ support!

    Any help appreciated.

      Hi,

Thanks for your comment. To fix your issue you need to increase the z-index css style for your navigation menu. If you are uncertain about it then please provide us the URL of your website. We will surely review and send you the solution.

I just review the link. It seems for the last 2 images the “path” is wrong: it is just entered as “http://muumuru.com/” but not the full image path like: “http://muumuru.com/images/stories/vaatteet_slide/Vaatteet-1.jpg”. Please recheck it and let me know.

If problem exists please send me the screenshot of the admin section so I can review the configuration is proper or not. You can get our support email address from the bottom section of this page: http://www.rswebsols.com/rsflashion-support.
